We only accept those artists we feel meet all of our thematic and professional requirements (ie. an artist with very few pieces in their portfolio for example would be politely encouraged to keep painting/sculpting/etc and come back when they've built a stronger portfolio). The Art History ArchiveThe archive is being compiled to serve as a library of information about different artistic movements, art groups and specific artists. Its purpose is to educate people about the different movements and show people that there are other movements worth looking at, and specific artists that users may never have heard of.
We realize that art teachers in high schools and even professors in universities tend to gloss over these movements and forget about them. Thus this archive is endeavouring to include EVERY art movement worthy of mention, no matter how small. Art Periods & Movements

The Lilith Gallery Network is advertising and donation supported. You can do your part to help support the Lilith Gallery by either donating to the Lilith Gallery or advertising on our site. To advertise on LG just pick a specific site on the Lilith Gallery that you'd like to advertise on and contact us. The standard rate is $30/year per page. If you'd like an image banner advertisement (or premium placement) the price is $50/year. Premium image banner placement is $70/year. After the ad is placed you can pay via PayPal.
